Main Function of  scheme to trained unemployment Rural youth for Dairy Training. Dairy Training Fees for General Category Rs.1000/- for S.C. Category Rs.750/-

4 week Training Entrepreneurship Training (Dairy Training and Extension Service Center verka ( Amritsar)

Dairy Training and giving Knowledge on different Subject like breeding, Clean Milk production and milk Management were included so that the trainee after getting training is capable enough to manage his/her affairs himself/herself and can successfully and gainfully run the dairy farm. Wherein special arrangements for training in milk management ,milk processing, breeding and Artificial Insemination were made and Dairy Entrepreneurship Training Was introduced. Training fees for General Category Rs.5000/– For S.C. Category Rs.4000/-

Milk Consumer Awareness Camps.

Milk Consumer Awareness Camps are being organized in City to aware about of milk being used by them.

Milk Producer Awareness camps

Main purpose to aware Dairy farmer about new scheme ,Training by Department Specialist Like Vetnary Department ,K.V.K. Milkfed ,Bank,Fodder Officer .

Under DD 8 scheme
Financial assistance is given on purchase of 2 to 20 milk animals.

02 to 20 milk cattle loan case of trained trainees from different banks
is sponsored and a dairy unit is set up by getting a loan from the bank at low interest rates. After setting up the unit, 25 percent subsidy is given by the head office Mohali for general caste and 33 percent subsidy for scheduled caste.

Milking Machine

To produce clean milk and the milk producer can get higher rate of milk, for this purpose
50 percent subsidy (maximum Rs. 24366/-) is given by the department on the purchase of double teat milking machine.
